On 3 July 2026, the Joint Special Administrators paid the first and final distribution of Relevant Funds to claimants with an Admitted Relevant Funds Claim.

If you made a Relevant Funds Claim which was admitted (in whole or in part), as set out in your Claim Assessment Notice, and we held verified bank details for you, we paid your distribution by bank transfer to the account provided. Please check your bank account to confirm you’ve received payment.

If you did not provide bank account details, or we couldn’t verify them, we sent your distribution by cheque to the address we had on file.

If you have an Admitted Relevant Funds Claim but haven’t received your distribution, please email the Small World Customer Service team at smallworlduk@uk.gt.com with your full name, Agent rep code and claim reference number.

If you did not submit a Relevant Funds Claim by the hard bar date of 31 August 2025 (Hard Bar Date), or your Relevant Funds Claim was rejected in full, you are not entitled to receive a distribution of Relevant Funds. Any claim which was received after the Hard Bar Date is automatically treated as an unsecured claim in accordance with the Distribution Plan.

Please cash your cheque as soon as possible. If you don’t have a bank account, you can also cash it at:

• a branch of the issuing bank which is Barclays Bank;
• a Post Office branch; or
• a cheque-cashing store.

Any distribution payments which remain unclaimed at the end of the distribution process will be transferred to the Insolvency Service. Claimants with unclaimed distributions will be notified of their distribution being transferred to the Insolvency Service and provided details of how to collect their distribution from the Insolvency Service.

As set out in the Distribution Notice dated 17 June 2026, we paid the first and final distribution at a rate of 48.64 pence in the pound. This rate applies equally to all claimants with an Admitted Relevant Funds Claim.

Your distribution payment is less than your Admitted Relevant Funds Claim because, under Clauses 5.5 and 8 of the Distribution Plan and the Payment and Electronic Money Institution Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2021, the costs associated with recovering and returning Relevant Funds have been deducted from the funds available for distribution.

Chris Laverty, Russell Simpson and Jarred Erceg of Grant Thornton UK LLP were appointed Joint Special Administrators of LCC Trans-Sending Ltd on 18 June 2024 (‘the Joint Special Administrators’) (‘the Company’). The affairs, business and property of the Company are being managed by the Joint Special Administrators.

The Company traded as Small World UK and operated as the main trading entity in the Small World Group, providing cross border payment services to its UK customers and acting as a global ‘payment hub’ for the Small World Group.

Further to the Suspension of Services Notice on 10 June 2024, Small World UK and its associated Group businesses have ceased receiving or processing new money transfer transactions through its agents, branches, websites and mobile applications.

Following the appointment, our initial actions are to secure the assets of the Company and identify amounts owed to the Company’s customers and creditors.

Should you be holding customer funds, please arrange for these funds to be deposited in full without deductions into the usual designated LCC Trans-Sending Limited bank account as soon as possible. Please do not action any refunds direct to customers.

It is important that no commission is deducted from customer funds, and that such funds are remitted in full into the usual designated LCC Trans-Sending Limited bank account.

Although the Company is in special administration, the Company continues to be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (‘FCA’) and is still subject to the FCA’s rules.

Update on Small World Financial Services Group Limited (in Administration) (SWFSG)

Please note the administration of SWFSG has now concluded. The Administrators filed their final report with the Registrar of Companies on 12 June 2026. Accordingly, SWFSG will be dissolved three months from this date.

As the administration has concluded and realisations were insufficient to pay a dividend to creditors, we are unable to take any further action in relation to creditor claims against SWFSG.

The Payment and Electronic Money Institution Insolvency Regulations 2021 introduced a special administration regime for payment and e-money institutions. A special administration is similar to an ordinary administration, however, the special administrators have an additional objective to return customer funds as soon as possible.

Following the special administration order, the Special Administrators are responsible for Small World UK, noting the firm continues to be FCA authorised. The Special Administrators are officers of the Court and need to comply with all insolvency law. The individuals appointed are authorised to act as licensed insolvency practitioners. The Special Administrators have statutory objectives which include engaging with authorities, including the FCA.
